Built by a student,
for Egyptian students.
IgniteUni is an AI-powered study tool that converts lecture PDFs into complete, structured study systems — automatically, in about 3 minutes.
The Problem It Solves
Egyptian university students typically receive lecture PDFs from their professors — sometimes 30 to 80 pages per lecture, multiple times per week. Reading, understanding, testing recall, fixing gaps, and preparing for exams from those PDFs is slow when done manually.
General AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini can answer questions about content, but they do not automatically structure a lecture into chapters, generate a quiz grounded in that specific lecture, track which questions a student answered wrong across sessions, or detect recurring patterns from past exam papers.
IgniteUni does all of this automatically from a single PDF upload.
What IgniteUni Does
You upload a lecture PDF. IgniteUni reads it, maps it into chapters, and builds a complete study system for each chapter — automatically, without any prompting:
- Chapter walkthrough — a 9-stage interactive format: predict → read → checkpoint → deep reasoning → teach-back → practice → quiz → synthesis
- Subject-specific exercises — clinical vignettes for Medicine, code-trace for CS, T-accounts for Accounting, anatomy ID for Dentistry, drug-effect prediction for Pharmacy
- AI-graded quizzes — written answers graded instantly with 1–2 sentence feedback. No self-grading.
- Spaced repetition flashcards — auto-generated from your lecture, scheduled via the SM-2 algorithm
- The Forge — diagnostic questioning → custom remediation lesson for exactly your gaps
- Exam Oracle — upload 2–5 past exam papers, get a predicted exam showing recurring patterns
- Arabic PDF support — auto-detects Arabic content, produces fully Arabic output when triggered
7 Academic Engines
Each engine has a specialised AI persona, subject-specific exercises, and a tailored diagram library:
- Medicine — zero-skip clinical policy: every drug, enzyme, and physiological value covered
- Dentistry — oral anatomy, procedures, materials
- Pharmacy — full ADME chains, drug mechanisms, adverse effects, dose-response
- STEM — Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering (formula-first, numerical exercises)
- Computer Science — code-trace exercises, in-browser Python/JavaScript execution
- Business & Accounting — T-accounts, journal entries, FIRAC structure
- Law & Humanities — argument labelling, FIRAC, mark scheme structure
Who Built It
IgniteUni was built by Ismail Nosseir, a student who experienced the problem firsthand — hours lost processing lecture PDFs manually before exams, no structured tool that understood Egyptian university content, and tutors charging 400–500 EGP per hour for what should be systematic preparation.
IgniteUni launched in 2024. It is used by students at Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Alexandria University, Mansoura University, Helwan University, and other Egyptian public and private universities.
IgniteUni is based in Cairo, Egypt. All data processed by the platform is subject to the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (151/2020).
